Cracking open the iPhone, video 1 — Getting started
After waiting in line, spending $600, signing a two-year AT&T contract, and activating the iPhone, we decided that the next sensible action was to take the thing apart -- in classic TechRepublic Cracking Open style. In addition to our extensive photo gallery, we filmed three video clips in which TechRepublics cracking open guru, Bill Detwiler, explains why and how we disassembled the iPhone. CES 2008: Logitech diNovo Mini hand-held PC keyboard and remote
Controlling a PC connected to your television usually means keeping a full-size keyboard on your coffee table. Logitech hopes to change that with the diNovo Mini--a new wireless, hand-held keyboard and remote. Announced at CES 2008, this palm-sized device provide a thumb-type QWERTY keyboard, multifunction click pad, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. TechRepublic's Bill Detwiler talked with a Logitech representative about the diNovo Mini and the CES 2008 Digital Experience event.
